In the opening game of the Nova KBM League Finals, Cedevita Olimpija have outgunned Helios Suns on the road in Domžale with the score of 88:84 and took a 1:0 lead in the series.

Cedevita Olimpija squad have, only 2 days following the magnificent triumph over Partizan Mozzart Bet in the AdmiralBet ABA League Semifinals at home in Stožice, edged out Helios Suns on the road in Game 1 of the Nova KBM League Finals. In Domžale Sports Hall, the Dragons have prevailed with the score of 88:84 which gives them 1:0 lead in the Finals.

It has been a close clash all game long, in which the Dragons appeared to be more focused in the final moments, which was enough to prevail at the opener of the series.

For Cedevita Olimpija, Yogi Ferrell led the way in scoring with 17 points on his record. Alen Omić added 16.

The next game of the Finals is coming up on Saturday, when the two squads will meet in Stožice Arena in Ljubljana with the starting time at 20:00. Afterwards, the focus will shift on the decisive Game 3 of the AdmiralBet ABA League Semifinal series against Partizan Mozzart Bet on the road in Štark Arena in Belgrade.
