Cedevita Olimpija players defeated Helios Suns (79:64) for the second time in the Semi-finals of the Nova KBM League and qualified for the Finals of the national championship.
For the fourth season in a row, we will be able to see the players of Cedevita Olimpija in the Finals of the Nova KBM League. It is necessary to take into account the fact that the 2019/20 season was not completed due to the coronavirus epidemic, and the Dragons have won two national championship titles since the 2015/16 season. On Wednesday, May 26, the Ljubljana basketball players will start hunting for their 18th title of Slovenian national champion. The last title of national champion was won by the people of Ljubljana in 2018.
The Semi-finals of the Nova KBM League with Helios Suns was completed by the Cedevita Olimpija in two matches, the same applies to the Quarter-finals with Hopsi Polzela.
