Young Dragons’ squad defeated on the road in Šenčur

Cedevita Olimpija has faced GGD Šenčur on the road with the young roster once more, led from the bench by head coach Miro Alilović, and suffered a loss with the score of 84:83 after a tough battle in the end.

A day after the domestic win in the 7DAYS EuroCup and earning a spot in the Quarterfinals, Cedevita Olimpija, this time with the young roster, has travelled to Šenčur to face GGD Šenčur and suffered a defeat after a tight game with the score of 83:84.

The clash in Gorenjska was decided in the final minute. Cedevita Olimpija had 3 points of advantage after two free throws by Luka Ščuka, but with a bit more than half a minute remaining, former Dragons’ player Dino Murić scored a three-pointer to tie the game. With a bit more than 18 seconds on the game clock Marko Radovanović took advantage of two free throws on the other end, but then Gaber Ožegović took his team to the win with the triple on the other side. Cedevita Olimpija did have the final ball possession, but the shots by Dan Duščak, Luka Ščuka and Marko Radovanović failed to hit the target.

Marko Radovanović had a double-double with 29 points and 15 rebounds. Dan Duščak added 8 assists and 6 rebounds to his 15 points, Luka Ščuka scored 13 points, Mirko Mulalić 11 and Žiga Daneu 10.
