In the second game of the Nova KBM League Semi-finals, Cedevita Olimpija has been hosting the Helios Suns at home in Stožice Arena in Ljubljana and has come up with the second win in the series.
After two games played in the Nova KBM League Finals, Cedevita Olimpija are 2:0 up in the series, since they have beaten Helios Suns at home in Stožice Arena in Game 2, following the win on the road in Domžale in Game 1. This way, the Dragons have approached themselves to only a step away from defending their championship trophy, won last season.
Just like in the first game, it has been the Helios Suns, that has gone up early in the game. They won the first quarter by 4 points, while the hosts bounced back in the second quarter, and the two sides headed to the big break with the score of 47:47.
The situation has been exactly the same after 30 minutes, when the score on the scoreboard has been 66:66. In the final period of the game, however, the Dragons have pulled away and eventually come up with the win, with a final score of 87:75
For Cedevita Olimpija, Alen Omić, Jaka Blažič and Zoran Dragić led the way in scoring with 14 points contributed each.
The third game of the series is coming up on Tuesday, when Helios Suns will be hosting Cedevita Olimpija at home in Domžale Sports Hall. The game will begin on 20.30.
