Win over Borac for a good mood ahead of the Tuesday’s spectacle

On Saturday, Cedevita Olimpija has prevailed over Borac of Čačak 83:80 in the previously postponed game of the regional competition

Cedevita Olimpija squad is back on the winning track. The Dragons of Ljubljana have beaten Borac of Čačak in the previously postponed game of the 15th round of the regional competition and got into the good mood ahead of the Tuesday’s Eightfinal game of the 7DAYS EuroCup.

Cedevita Olimpija have opened the game better than their opponents, but they did not really managed to pull away immediately. In the 16th minute of the game, the gap between the two sides was still only 4 points (34:30), but then a 9:2 run followed by the Dragons, that took them away to a 9-point lead (43:32), with 2 minutes remaining in the opening half. Until the big break, they have increased their advantage to 12 points (49:37). This turned out to be crucial for later development of the game. Borac did manage to make it a close game in the end, but they were too late to turn it completely upside-down.

Jaka Blažič scored 20 points fort he Dragons, Yogi Ferrell 17 and Edo Murić 13.
