Cedevita Olimpija has demonstrated a relentless performance on the road in Morača Sports Hall against Budućnost VOLI, but a couple of points separated them from the victory in the end. Budućnost VOLI prevailed with the score of 93:91.

The Dragons have suffered the fourth straight defeat in Morača. In the 18th round of the regional competition, Budućnost VOLI has been better than the Jurica Golemac’s squad.

During the entire playing time, the two squads have been exchanging the lead and with 50 seconds remaining on the game clock, Jacob Pullen made a lay-up to tie the game at 87:87. The crucial moment followed with 24 seconds remaining, when Justin Cobbs scored a three-pointer to take his team in front by 3 points (90:87). Cedevita Olimpija was not allowed by the home defense to shoot for 3 points anymore until the end and after a series of 2-pointers and free throws, Budućnost VOLI prevailed 93:91.

Zoran Dragić has been the top scorer of the green and orange squad with 20 points and he had a valuation of 34. Jacob Pullen added 17 points, while Jaka Blažič had 16.

The next test awaits the Dragons Wednesday, 19.15, when they will be hosting Frutti Extra Bursaspor in Stožice.
