This marked their fourth consecutive win and their second in the EuroCup. With this success, the Ljubljana team took another decisive step toward the playoffs. Notably, they defeated a team that had spent most of the time in second place in Group B standings, further enhancing their chances of directly advancing to the quarterfinals. Additionally, this victory marked the Dragons’ first-ever win against an Israeli team, having previously suffered five consecutive defeats.

The EuroCup playoff participants will be determined in the final rounds of the regular season. On Wednesday, the Green-Orange squad will travel again, heading through Vienna and Vilnius to Panevėžys, where they will face Lietkabelis in a rescheduled 13th-round game at 18:30.

The Israeli team led by four points with just over four minutes remaining in the final quarter, but the Dragons responded with Devin Robinson sparking the comeback, while Aleksej Nikolić and Brynton Lemar added crucial points from the free-throw line. Hapoel failed to score a field goal in the last five minutes of the game until the final 20 seconds.

Brynton Lemar finished the game with 17 points, Aleksej Nikolić added 16, and Devin Robinson scored 15. Joan Beringer contributed eight points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
