Cedevita Olimpija has suffered 12th defeat of the Regular Season in the BKT EuroCup. Besiktas was better than the squad, led from the bench by head coach Simone Pianigiani with the final score of 88:83.
The streak of defeats of Cedevita Olimpija in the BKT EuroCup goes on. The Dragons have celebrated the last win on 1 February, suffering 17 consecutive defeats in the meantime, 12 of which came in the 2023/24 season. Besiktas were the ones that prevailed over Cedevita Olimpija in Stožice in the Round 12 of the Regular Season with the final score of 88:83.
The reigning Slovenian champions will play three more games until the end of 2023. On Friday, they will face Cibona in Tivoli, which will be followed by the away game against Prometey and at last they will face Mega MIS on the road in Belgrade on 31 December.

GAME REPORT:
The team, led from the bench by head coach Simone Pianigiani have quickly fallen behind and after being down by 7 points (22:29) after the first quarter, they cut the gap to only a point by halftime. It remained a tight game all until the end, but the Dragons failed to turn it in their favour in the end, when Besiktas prevailed with the final score of 88:83.
For the Dragons, Karlo Matković led the way in scoring with 22 points on his record. Justin Cobbs added 19.
