Big win for the tie in the Semifinals

In the second game of the AdmiralBet ABA League Semifinals, Cedevita Olimpija has prevailed over Partizan Mozzart Bet (95:83), and tied the score in the series to 1:1.

It all starts over again in the AdmiralBet ABA League Semifinals! Cedevita Olimpija, in front of the 9233-strong crowd, scored a big win over Partizan Mozzart Bet after they have been in command of the game all game long and tied the series at 1:1. The winner of the Game 3, that will take place in Belgrade, will travel to the Finals.

Cedevita Olimpija won the first half by 10 points (51:41), but Partizan Mozzart Bet returned into the game for the win in the third quarter, cutting the gap to only 2 points (53:51) in 24th minute of the clash. However, it has been the home side, that have replied with an 11:3 run in the last 2 minutes of the third period in order to go ahead by 13 points (73:60) ahead of the last quarter. As it turned out later in the game, these were the key moments, since the black and white simply did not manage to respond again and return into the battle for the win.

For Cedevita Olimpija, Yogi Ferrell shined with points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal and a valuation of 36 on his record as he led the Ljubljana side to the big win. Zoran Dragić had 12 points on his record, while Edo Murić and Alen Omić added 10 points apiece.

The Game 3 of the series is coming up on Tuesday in Belgrade’s Štark Arena. Before that, Cedevita Olimpija will play the first two games of the Nova KBM League Finals, on Thursday in Domžale and on Saturday in Stožice.
