Cedevita Olimpija extended its winning streak in the AdmiralBet ABA League to five games, after the squad, led from the bench by head coach Simone Pianigiani, has scored another big win in Podgorica. This time they have prevailed over Budućnost VOLI and earned themselves a spot in the Top 3 of the AdmiralBet ABA League at the moment.
The next game is coming up for the Dragons on Wednesday, when they will be hosting Paris Basketball at home in Stožice Arena in Ljubljana in the Round 9 of the BKT EuroCup Regular Season, in pursuit of their first win of the season on European courts.

GAME REPORT:
The Dragons have been in front by a point after the opening quarter (23:24), but fell behind by halftime (48:41). They have been chasing the home side ever since and managed to take the 63:64 lead at the start of the last quarter. The hosts replied with a 9:0 run and pulled away by 8 points again, but by the end of the game, the Ljubljana squad managed to gather enough strength once again in order to arrange a major comeback, and an 81:82 win after a game-winning buzzer-beater by Shawn Jones.
DJ Stewart had 20 points on his record this time, while Justin Cobbs had 15, Shanwn Jones 14, while adding 11 rebounds to his stats and Jaka Blažič 13 points and 9 rebounds.
