Dragons stronger than Igokea m:tel in Stožice

Cedevita Olimpija squad has triumphantly entered the final part of the Regular Season in the AdmiralBet ABA League for the 2022/23 season. The squad, led from the bench by head coach Jurica Golemac has beaten Igokea m:tel at home in Stožice Arena in the 20th round of the regional league season.

On Sunday night, Cedevita Olimpija have prevailed over Igokea m:tel at home in their Stožice Arena in Ljubljana. In a game, where they have been in command for the majority of the playing time, the Dragons have achieved their 14th win of the season, which keeps them in the race for the top positions at the end of the Regular Season.

Cedevita Olimpija have been the better of the two squads all game long. For the last time, the teams have been tied midway through the first quarter, when the score was 9:9. This is when the 12:2 run by Cedevita Olimpija began, which lasted for 3 minutes and took them ahead by 10 points (21:11). As it turned out later in the game, the visiting side haven’t managed to return into the battle for a pair of points again afterwards, so these were the key moments of the game.

For the Dragons, Josh Adams had 20 points and Alen Omić had 15.
