Cedevita Olimpija has prevailed over Krka in an overtime thriller in Stožice Arena in the Round 15 of the AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season.
For the Dragons of Ljubljana, this is the 8th win of the season and they are now on an 8:7 record midway through the Regular Season, placed just on the edge of the Playoffs Zone and the green and orange squad have won 10 out of 12 last games played in the three competitions, after they have opened their 2025 campaign with a win in an exciting game.
The next game is coming up for Cedevita Olimpija on Wednesday, when the Dragons will be hosting Aris of Thessaloniki at home in Stožice Arena in the BKT EuroCup.
GAME REPORT:
Cedevita Olimpija pulled away by 11 points in the opening half (38:27), but Krka managed to fight their way back into the game in the third quarter, during which they managed to take the lead in the very finish of the period. Krka even had a chance to win the game in the regular part of the playing time, but it was Brynton Lemar, that scored a key bucket to keep the Dragons in the game late in the fourth and forced overtime.
The same player stepped up for Cedevita Olimpija once more in the overtime, when he scored a key lay-up to hand the 84:82 win to Cedevita Olimpija in the end.
For Cedevita Olimpija, Devin Robinson and Jaka Blažič have each scored 17 points as they led the Ljubljana side to the win in the end.
