In the opening game of the AdmiralBet ABA League Round 13, Cedevita Olimpija have prevailed over Cibona at home in their Tivoli Sports Hall in Ljubljana. It’s been a game, where the Dragons have been in front for the majority of the playing time and they managed to finally decisively crack the resistance of the visiting side in the second half. With 6 minutes to go in the third quarter, Cedevita Olimpija were still ahead by only a point (48:47), but that’s when they made a 14:2 run, that put them up by 13 points (62:49) with 4 minutes left in the third quarter. It seemed like the Wolves would not manage to come up with a proper response to this run all until the end, but they fought back and even managed to tie the game in the very finish.
