In the decisive third game of the Quarterfinal series of the AdmiralBet ABA League Playoffs, Dubai Basketball prevailed over Cedevita Olimpija 85:76 and earned the place in the league Semifinals.

The Dragons are therefore ending the regional competition in the Quarterfinals for the second season in a row, after Dubai Basketball has prevailed in the series with the score of 2:1, after previously the two squads have offered us two tight encounters, where in first game Dubai prevailed by a point and Cedevita Olimpija in the second by 5 points.

The season is not over for the Ljubljana squad, however, as they will continue it in the Slovenian National Championship, where they are due to face Terme Olimia of Podčetrtek in the Semifinals. The first game of the series is coming up on Thursday, 18.00 in Podčetrtek and the second one on Saturday, 12.00 in Stožice Arena.

GAME REPORT:

Dubai side have opened the game in a better fashion and prevailed in the first quarter already by 8 points. They continued to grind in the beginning of the second quarter and created themselves their first double-digit lead at the entrance to the 13th minute, when they got up by 11 (28:17). It turns out that these were the key moments of the game, as the Dragons did not manage to recurve again after this blow and these can be described as key moments of the game.

For Cedevita Olimpija, Brynton Lemar and Danilo Tasić found their names atop of the list of scorers with 14 points contributed apiece.
