The Dragons have been breathing fire in Valencia

Cedevita Olimpija squad has grabbed an important win on the road in Valencia in the 7DAYS EuroCup. With the relentless performance, they have been in front for the majority of the game. The Dragons have knocked the Spaniards down with the final score of 97:85.

Jurica Golemac’s team has paid a visit to Valencia in the 8th round of the 7DAYS EuroCup season. With a win (85:97) they have ended their winless streak in this competition and grabbed their third win.

The Ljubljana squad has opened the game in Spain in a fantastic fashion. They were up throughout the first quarter (24:22) and departed to the big break with a 1-point deficit (43:44). In the second part of the game, they have turned the score in their own favour again and then remained in front all until the final buzzer. With a team performance and great defensive game, they have decided the game before the very ending. They prevailed in the end by 12 points (97:85).

Jaka Blažič was the most efficient player, wearing the green and orange jersey this time, as he had 24 points and 5 assists. Yogi Ferrell and Edo Murić added 15 points apiece.

The new test is coming up for the Ljubljana team in a week, as they will travel to Zagreb in the 13th round of the ABA League season to face Cibona on Tuesday.
