In the sixth round of the 2022/23 7DAYS EuroCup season, Cedevita Olimpija has suffered its sixth defeat on the European stage. The squad, led from the bench by Jurica Golemac, has been defeated by Lietkabelis on the road in Panevežys with the final score of 104:98
It has been a high-scoring encounter, where the hosts have been fired up right from the beginning. They scored no less than 34 points in the opening quarter and 60 by the big break, leading by 16 points after 20 minutes of play.
In the second half, the Dragons tried their best to turn the game upside-down somehow, but just did not succeed and Lietkabelis celebrated the win with the final score of 104:98.
For the Ljubljana squad, Amar Alibegović led the way in scoring with 19 points on his record, while Yogi Ferrell and Karlo Matković had 17 apiece.
