Rhapsody in Stožice for the 7DAYS EuroCup Quarterfinals

At the Eightfinal game of the 7DAYS EuroCup at home in Stožice Arena, Cedevita Olimpija has prevailed over Türk Telekom with the score of 93:80 and earned itself a spot in the Quarterfinals. That’s where it will take on the winner of the clash between Partizan NIS and Frutti Extra Bursaspor.

Cedevita Olimpija made a true treat for the Ljubljanaw fans. In front of the packed stands of the Stožice Arena, they have beaten Türk Telekom 93:80 and earned itself a quarter-finals ticket.

The Dragons have spread their wins at the start of the game and earned themselves a double-digit lead, that they kept in the remainder of the game. They departed to the big break with 22 points of advantage (60:38). The green and orange squad did not let go of their lead in the second half. Their advantage got up to 30 points during the second half and in the end they prevailed with the score of 93:80.

Jaka Blažič was the most efficient player of the Dragons with 20 points. Alen Omić added 15, while adding 16 rebounds to his stats. Zoran Dragić and Jacob Pullen had 14 apiece and Yogi Ferrell 11.
