First win of the preseason for the Dragons

In the third preseason game ahead of the 2022/23 season, Cedevita Olimpija has faced Igokea m:tel of Laktaši at home in Stožice Arena.

After they have suffered two defeats against Telekom Baskets Bonn and Dinamo Sassari, the Dragons have faced Igokea m:tel in Stožice and demonstrated a different kind of performance.

The Ljubljana squad has entered the game fully determinedly to take the win and gained the double-digit lead by the 14th minute. Igokea m:tel answered with a good performance in the second half and even took the lead midway through the last quarter, but the Dragons pulled away once more at the end of the game and won eventually with the score of 86:78.

Josh Adams was the most efficient with 23 points on his record for Cedevita Olimpija this time, while Alen Omić and Yogi Ferrell followed him with 21 apiece.

Daniel Vujasinović played this time for the Dragons, and Matic Rebec was another player to put on Cedevita Olimpija jersey, as he joined the practices of the club this week in order to help the squad in the practice process.

The next test is coming up for the Dragons on 15 September, when they will face GGD Šenčur on home court.
