On Sunday at 17.00, the players of Cedevita Olimpija will try to use the first opportunity to win the title of national champion in the third match of the final set of the Nova KBM League with Krka in the home Arena Stožice.
After two consecutive victories in the first two matches of the final set of the Nova KBM League with Novo mesto-based Krka, Cedevita Olimpija found itself in an excellent position to use its 18th title of Slovenian national champion in seven third finals, the first after 2018, in the second first under named BC Cedevita Olimpija. This year we have the opportunity to follow the tenth final set, which is being fought for the title of the best in the country by the people of Ljubljana and Novo mesto. Cedevita Olimpija celebrated the title three times and Krka six times.
The third match will be on Sunday at 17.00 in Arena Stožice, and a live television broadcast will be available on Sportklub 1. An online broadcast will also be organized, which will take place on the official YouTube channel of the Basketball Association of Slovenia.
After the high victory of the Ljubljana team in the first match of the final set, so that the Novo mesto team showed a completely different face in the Leon Štukelj Sports Hall on Friday, and successfully resisted Cedevita Olimpija for most of the match. The Dragons won 75-64 only at the end of the match. Mikael Hopkins scored 18 points and Kendrick Perry stopped at 15.
