Green Ladies

In 2018, the legendary Dragon Ladies said good-bye to the sports World. They were an absolute symbol of the breaks between quarters and during the game, and the Dragons Ladies were exciting not only for the Cedevita Olimpija fans, but also for the sports fans all across the Globe.

But despite this fact, Cedevita Olimpija’s organization took care in the summer of 2018, that the fans will have something to look forward to, not just when we are talking about the game, but also we the word comes to the breaks in the game.

Dance team Ladies joined the club during the summer months, and they made sure, that their name signalized the cooperation with the Ljubljana’s club. The Ladies became Green Ladies, and that is their official name when performing at the events with Petrol Olimpija.

After the auditions that took place in September, the girls introduced themselves to the World at the Slovenian SuperCup 2018 game against Sixt Primorska in Tivoli Hall, and later on, the fans got their first look at them in Stožice in the ABA League’s first round against Mornar from Bar.

Dance team Ladies is one of the most well known “cheer dance” groups in Slovenia. The group is built by 30 girls, and their dance style is a mix of several dances, but everything bases on the flashy moves. They are well known by their jumps that are full of energy, and they include them in their dance routines.

In their many years of performing, Ladies won many awards in various competitions, and we can see them, not only at Cedevita Olimpija’s home games, but also at other sports and cultural events, where they always bring a lot of energy and love for dancing to the big stage.
