Cedevita Olimpija is back home again as the Dragons look to get to third win in the 7DAYS EuroCup regular season, in the light of facing U-BT Cluj Napoca in Round 11.
This will be the second time two teams will meet in the 7DAYS EuroCup regular season. The Dragons are trying to get to the third win in this season, as they try to bounce back after a defeat in Bursa in Round 10 of the regular season. Also, for the first time two teams met in Romania, the home team won with the score 94:76.
Jurica Golemac, head coach of Cedevita Olimpija:
“We have a challenging match ahead of us. It certainly depends on her how we will look in the rest of the season in the 7DAYS EuroCup. Cluj is a very aggressive and experienced team that plays smart, it consists of quite a few players from our premises. We will try to prepare to the best of our ability. Our game also depends on how many players we will have in training during this period, but we enter the match with positive thoughts.”
Josh Adams, player of Cedevita Olimpija:
“The expectations are always to win. This is a massive game for us to give us a chance to stay in the competition. It’s also one of our few home games in a second half of the season, so we want our fans to come and be our sixth player.”
