Krka, Helios Suns, Gorenjska gradbena družba Šenčur, Rogaška and Terme Olimia Podčetrtek will join the Cedevita Olimpija team in the Champion group. The best team in the first part of the 1. SKL was Krka from Novo mesto, which collected 16 wins and only two defeats in 18 matches.
Recall, due to appearances in two international competitions, Cedevita Olimpija did not participate in the first part of the national championship. The 2019/20 season in the 1. SKL ended prematurely due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the champion was not announced. In independent Slovenia, the Dragons have already won 17 national championship titles, the last in the 2017/18 season.
