European Basketball Returns to Stožice: Cedevita Olimpija’s BKT EuroCup Schedule Confirmed

Cedevita Olimpija will open its 2026/27 BKT EuroCup campaign in Spain, where the Dragons will face Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos in the season opener. The team’s first home appearance in the EuroCup will come in Round 2, when Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem visits Ljubljana.

The Dragons will play seven home games during the BKT EuroCup Regular Season. Fans at Arena Stožice will have the opportunity to watch matchups against Hapoel Midtown Jerusalem, Le Mans Sarthe Basket, Baglietto Derthona Tortona, Recoletas Salud San Pablo Burgos, Riga Zelli, Aris Thessaloniki Betsson and Rostock Seawolves. Once again, Arena Stožice will host top-level European basketball throughout the 2026/27 season as the Dragons set their sights on securing a place in the BKT EuroCup Playoffs. All of Cedevita Olimpija’s home games in Ljubljana will tip off at 6:30 p.m.

CEDEVITA OLIMPIJA’S 2026/27 GAMES SCHEDULE

The 2026/27 season introduces a new BKT EuroCup competition format. Thirty-two teams will compete in the Regular Season, which begins on September 29, divided into four groups of eight teams each. Every group will play a 14-game Regular Season schedule, with each team facing the other seven opponents twice. The top four teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs. The postseason will consist of the Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals, with every playoff series played in a best-of-three format.
