Cedevita Olimpija: Winner of the One Team Program for the 2023/24 Season!

Cedevita Olimpija has been named the winner of the socially responsible One Team Program award for the 2023/24 season. All clubs under the umbrella of EuroLeague Basketball participate in the One Team program each season.

Together with the Youth Care Centre Malči Belic, Cedevita Olimpija helped young people at risk with learning difficulties improve their social skills using basketball as a tool for positive change. The participating children, aged between seven and thirteen, also received small gifts from the sponsors and partners of the Ljubljana club, NLB d. d. and IKEA.

It is worth mentioning that in the 2023/24 season, Cedevita Olimpija, in collaboration with Umana Reyer, organized a trip to Venice where participants watched the EuroCup game between the two teams. They also had the opportunity to take part in a joint basketball training session and explore the city. Another trip was organized to Zagreb, where participants enjoyed watching a regional league game with Cibona and toured the facilities of the Zagreb club, while also spending part of the day at Cedevita’s Basketball Home. Cedevita Olimpija also ensured strong media coverage of the program.

“We are happy to have won the award, we are very honored. I think we put in a lot of effort this year, and we are very grateful that our work has been recognized,” said Matic Lisac, Cedevita Olimpija’s One Team program manager. “We will continue this good work and hope to impact even more lives than in previous seasons.”

Second and third places were taken by the teams from ASVEL and Milan.
