In nearly seven seasons, that Marko Milić spent in the jersey of the Dragons, he became a legend and a fan favorite, not just in Ljubljana, but all over Slovenia.

One of the best and most famous Slovenian basketball players and former captain of then Union Olimpija and Slovenian National Team Marko Milic decided to retire from basketball in November 2015. Marko Milic, originally from Kranj, Slovenia, started his serious basketball career in Olimpija and soon became fan favourite due to his atractive style of play and amazing character on and off the court.

Popular Milko started his basketball career in his home town of Kranj,  was first Slovenian ever to play in NBA (Phoenix Suns) and first human ever to dunk over a car. He had an amazing basketball career playing for foreign powerhouse clubs such as Fenerbahce, Real Madrid, Fortitudo, Virtus Bologna and Scavollini Pesaro. He won four Slovenian League titles, three Slovenian Cups, ULEB Cup and Spanish League title with Real Madrid. He also won two national league titles and one cup title in Kuwait, where he played lastly.

Marko Milic never declined to play for Slovenian National Team. He was captain of the NT in 2001, and played for the team at 59 official games, including six European Championships  (1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003 in 2005) and first historical World Championship in 2006 for Slovenia. He scored 605 points in official games, if we count also friendly games, he scored 1043 points  for his country.
