Blažič, Murić and Hodžić on the Slovenian roster

On Wednesday, the new selector of the Slovenian men’s national team, Aleksander Sekulić, announced the list of 15 basketball players who are invited to the Ljubljana bubble of the second cycle of qualifications for EuroBasket 2022.

The list of 15 basketball players also includes three basketball players from Cedevita Olimpija, Jaka Blažič, Edo Murić and Alen Hodžić. The Slovenian national team will face Ukraine and Hungary in the Ljubljana bubble in Stožice.

The Slovenian national team started the qualifications for EuroBasket 2022 in February this year with half the proceeds. In the first round, she lost in the close final with 75:77 in Hungary, and three days later she beat the Austrian team in Koper with 85:78. In this qualification cycle, the Slovenes will first face the Ukrainians on Saturday, November 28, and a return match with the Hungarians on Monday, November 30.
