At Polzela for a spot in the semifinals

On Thursday at 18.00, the players of Cedevita Olimpija will face Hopsi Polzela in the second match of the quarterfinal set of the Nova KBM League in the Polzela Sports Hall for a semi-final ticket.

At Polzela, the basketball players of Cedevita Olimpija will try to record their second victory in the quarterfinal set of the Nova KBM League with Hopsi Polzela on Thursday at 18.00. In the first match on Tuesday, the Dragons celebrated the victory with 97:48 and thus made a decisive step towards the semifinals of the national championship.

In the first match of the quarterfinals in Stožice, the people of Ljubljana celebrated a high victory. Already in the first quarter, the players of Cedevita Olimpija gained a high advantage, and in the end the scoreboard showed 97:48 in favor of the selected head coach Jurica Golemac. The best scorer of the Ljubljana team was Luka Ščuka with 18 points.

“Our goal is clear. We want to return the title of national champion back to Stožice. No competitor should be underestimated. We have to perform with more than one hundred percent focus in every match. We also showed this at Tuesday’s match in Stožice. The fact that all of us on the team scored points on Tuesday proves the quality of all of us. We are all important, from the first to the last. As a team, we must continue to play. We will do our best not to be surprised on Thursday. We have to show quality and prove that we are better than everyone.”
