The One Team project in a modified form took place for the first time in the 2020/21 season

The One Team project, of which Cedevita Olimpija is a part for the second season in a row, is a socially responsible project of the strongest European basketball competition, Euroleague, which is also supported by the main sponsor of the elite basketball competition, Turkish Airlines, to go along with the main partner, Special Olympics.

The purpose of the project is to use the power of basketball to implement changes in the community. The project enables participants to highlight vital skills needed for the most effective integration into everyday life through basketball and basic basketball elements and exercises.

As part of the project in the 2020/2021 season, Cedevita Olimpija is cooperating with the Youth care center Malči Belič. Due to the current epidemiological situation in Slovenia, the project participants unfortunately cannot meet in live workshops, as usual. Nevertheless, the first One Team online workshop of the season was held on Wednesday, November 4th, where project participants had the opportunity to meet each other for the first time and get to know each other a little bit better. The club ambassador and a big supporter of the project, Alen Hodžić, also joined the workshop online.

The participants of the project will meet at least ten times during the season. As Alen Hodžić also pointed out, we all wish that the participants would soon be able to meet live and in this way fulfill the mission of the project, and we are all looking forward to the day when we will be able to meet again in the beautiful Stožice Arena.
