Greek power forward Nikos Chougkaz is leaving Cedevita Olimpija and will continue his career with PAOK Thessaloniki. The two clubs have reached an agreement on the transfer of the player, who joined the Ljubljana-based club this summer. As Chougkaz had a valid contract with Cedevita Olimpija, the club will also receive a transfer fee.
KK Cedevita Olimpija and Greek side PAOK Thessaloniki have agreed on the transfer of Nikos Chougkaz. The Greek power forward is thus leaving Ljubljana and will continue his career in one of Greece’s most prestigious basketball environments. Chougkaz joined Cedevita Olimpija ahead of the current season and competed in both international competitions wearing the green-and-orange jersey.
In the EuroCup, he appeared in six games, averaging 6.7 points and 5.7 rebounds in just over 21 minutes per game. In the Adriatic League, he played in seven games, averaging 8.9 points and 3.0 rebounds in 17.1 minutes per game.
