Cedevita Olimpija on Saturday at Stožice, in a matchup of the 13th round of the first phase of the AdmiralBet ABA League, defeated Spartak Office Shoes by a score of 86:65, returned to winning ways in the regional league, and thus entered the new calendar year 2026 in the best possible way.
Cedevita Olimpija’s senior team on Saturday at Stožice, in the 13th round of the first phase of the AdmiralBet ABA League, beat Spartak Office Shoes by a score of 86:65. For the players of head coach Zvezdan Mitrović, this was their tenth victory of the regular season, with which the Dragons remain at the top of Group B. At the same time, the Slovenian champions recorded an important success in the battle for places among the top eight teams in the first part of the season and returned to winning ways after last weekend’s defeat in Belgrade. The Ljubljana side defeated the team from Subotica for the second time in the 2025/26 season.
In the regional league, Cedevita Olimpija will be back in action next Saturday, when they will visit Vienna to face Vienna. Before that, on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Stožice, the Ljubljana team will play a 13th-round regular-season EuroCup game against Bahçeşehir. Cedevita Olimpija were the ones that were ahead throughout the game.
