Cedevita Olimpija defeated Vienna 86:59 on Sunday in the sixth round of the regular season of the AdmiralBet ABA League in Stožice, thus starting a series of four consecutive home games in the best possible way.
The senior team of Cedevita Olimpija recorded its fourth win of the season on Sunday in the Stožice Arena in the sixth-round matchup of the AdmiralBet ABA League. The scoreboard in the game against Vienna showed 86:59 in favor of the team led by head coach Zvezdan Mitrović, who therefore began their streak of four straight home games in the best way possible. On Wednesday, the Dragons will face Venezia in the Stožice Arena, next Monday they will play a regional league derby against Crvena zvezda, and two days later they will host Hamburg.

After an even first quarter (14:16), the Dragons took control of the game in the second, gaining a 14-point lead by halftime (40:26). The dominant performance continued in the second half, and by the third quarter the home team’s lead had already surpassed 20 points. In the remainder of the game, the squad under head coach Zvezdan Mitrović calmly brought the match to a close and recorded their fourth win of the AdmiralBet ABA League season.
The top scorer for Cedevita Olimpija was Umoja Gibson with 22 points, followed by Jaka Blažič with 14.
