Slovenian national team player Luka Rupnik is no longer a member of Cedevita Olimpija. After Rupnik joined the current national champions last season, he recently expressed his wish to leave the Ljubljana team, and the club’s management complied with his wish. Rupnik won the title of Slovenian national champion with Cedevita Olimpija in the 2020/21 season, and at the beginning of this season he also became the Slovenian Super Cup champion.
In the 2021/22 competition season, Luka Rupnik played in ten regional league matches and five 7DAYS EuroCup matches. In the regional competition, he averaged 5.3 points, 4.3 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game in 15.8 minutes per game. In the European Cup, he averaged 1.8 points and 1.4 assists per game.
